Keeping you and your family safe and healthy
A message from the General Manager, Children Services – Cathy Cahill
Dear Enhance families, Educators and prospective families,
During this time of uncertainty Enhance Family Day Care (Enhance) wishes to advise all community members that our services continue to remain open and our Educators are committed to ensuring your children receive the care and support they need, now more than ever.
The health and wellbeing of our children and Educators is of the utmost importance and remains our primary focus at all times. Enhance continues to work closely with the Department of Education and Queensland Health, to monitor the situation and identify and manage any impact to our families and children. This has led to internal planning and information sessions to support and guide our staff and Educators.
Our Educators and staff are continuing to review hygiene and health practices and have introduced additional measures where required. I encourage you to view the Enhance Educators’ Commitment Statement detailing the additional steps we are taking to further protect Educators, children and families:
All of our decisions regarding the operation of our services is made with the advice of medical professionals and health authorities. We will continue to keep you updated on any additional advised measures recommended to keeping children safe.
Enhance is working around the clock to ensure we do all we can to continue to support you and your family and our Educators during this time of uncertainty. We will continue to keep you updated on any changes to policies, procedures and provide you with current resources and information as the situation unfolds.
In the meantime, please feel free to contact us on 3899 1622 if you would like any further information or clarification regarding the situation at hand.
As an organisation, children are at the centre of our work and through this time this focus will remain our priority. Please stay safe and look after each other during this time of uncertainty.
